40 between-innings songs that keep the crowd going

Walk-up songs are for the player. Between innings, the song is for the bleachers. These are the ballpark songs that get parents singing, dugouts dancing, and the whole park clapping on cue at a youth baseball or softball game.

Singalongs Dance breaks Clap-alongs Stadium staples For little kids FAQ
⏱️ A break is a minute or two. Start every song at the chorus, not the intro, so the crowd gets the best part before the umpire is ready. In WalkAmp you can queue all of these on the Sound Board and play them in order. Our guide to the between-innings playlist shows how.

Singalongs

The parents know every word. Start at the chorus and let the bleachers take it from there.

Between-innings music FAQ

How long is the break between innings in youth baseball?

Usually a minute or two. Most youth leagues keep side changes short and tournaments often run a clock, so one song fills the break and two is plenty. Start the song at the chorus so the crowd gets the best part before the umpire calls play. WalkAmp's between-innings playlist plays your queue in order and stops on its own.

Can I play music between innings at a youth game?

Most leagues allow music between innings at a reasonable volume, but rules vary by league, field, and tournament. Check with your league or tournament director first, keep it clean, and stop the music the moment the umpire is ready to resume play. Our guide to playing music at your field covers speakers, PA hookups, and etiquette.

What about the seventh-inning stretch?

Most youth games are six innings, so there is no seventh to stretch in. Pick a middle inning, make Take Me Out to the Ballgame the tradition, and the crowd will stand up for it every game.
