Guide 9 路 Game time

Set up a between-innings playlist

Walk-ups cover the at-bats. The playlist covers everything else: the side change, the pitching change, the two minutes while the umpire finds a ball. Queue it once and the field never goes quiet.

1

Open the Sound Board

Tap Sound Board in the bottom bar and scroll past the stadium cues to Between Innings Playlist. Tap Add. The list is empty the first time, and it fills up the same way for every source.

2

Pick where the music comes from

WalkAmp Hits is a curated set of ballpark songs included with the app, so you can build a playlist before you connect anything. My Music is any song you have uploaded to WalkAmp. Apple Music appears once your subscription is connected and plays full tracks from the catalog.

Pick as many songs as you want in one pass. Songs with explicit lyrics show an E in the list, same as everywhere else in the app, so you can spot them before game day.

3

Tap a song to start

Tap any song in the list and it plays from there, one after another, in the order you added them. A Music Queue bar slides up above the tab bar with pause and stop, so you can pull the sound down from anywhere on the board. When the list runs out, it stops on its own.

4

Tidy it between games

Swipe a song to the left to delete it, or tap Clear Queue to start over. The playlist saves itself and it is one list for all your teams, so a coach running two rosters builds it once.

5

Let the walk-up take over

When the break ends, go back to the lineup and tap the batter. The playlist fades out by itself before the announcer speaks, so you never have two things playing at once. Next break, tap the Sound Board and start it again.

鈴憋笍 An inning break is short. In most youth leagues it is a minute or two, so one song usually fills it. Queue a handful in the order you want them and start wherever you left off.

Songs that keep the crowd going

Walk-up songs are for the player. Between innings, the song is for the bleachers. These are the ones that get parents singing, dugouts dancing, and the whole park clapping on cue. Every one is a ballpark regular and clean as released.
